Position Summary
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Immunology is a field-based position focusing on Immunology. It requires professionals with established personal and scientific creditability to interact with thought leaders and centers of excellence. MSLs are responsible for developing and enhancing professional relationships with medical thought leaders involved in various phases of product development. MSLs provide medical information through scientific exchange in a fair-balanced manner and provide clinical/scientific support.
Responsibility
External Stakeholder Engagement
Collect field medical insights and transform them into actionable goals based on scientific partnership with external stakeholders including TLs, HCPs, payers, and health authorities. Lead scientific exchange with HCPs within given geography, ensuring medical accuracy and compliance with local procedures, ethical guidelines, and legal directives. Keep abreast of scientific and clinical trends including current treatment landscape, unmet medical needs, clinical trials, and competitive information. Implement and execute individual TL interaction plan in timely manner, according to strategic medical plan.Launch Excellence
Execute launch field medical tactics as designated in accordance with local regulations and ethical guidelines. Identify country and/or ethnic-specific medical unmet needs for launching BMS medicines and transform them into strategic medical insights. Execute TL interaction plan in accordance with regulatory and access strategies. Participate in disease and product data trainings for internal partners as necessary and appropriate.Data Generation
Support BMS-sponsored interventional and non-interventional Research (NIR) studies as appropriate or as defined in scope documents. Be the primary contact point for Investigator-Sponsored Research (ISR) and non-interventional researches in compliance with company and legal guidelines. Identify unmet needs in clinical field and transform them into data/evidence generation insights. Lead scientific communications with PIs on data publication and presentation as appropriate.Requirements
Relevant science background (e.g., medicine, pharmacology, pharmacy, or bioscience, etc.) with relevant pharmaceutical industry experience MD, PharmD, PhD, or MSc degrees are preferred. Experiences in scientific and/or clinical research is preferred, not mandatory.#LI-Hybrid
