As an OEM/ Indirect Sales Leader for Process Automation Business Area in Seoul, South Korea, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a highly effective OEM Sales strategy in specified market (global/regional/local) mainly through channel partners in order to improve ABB market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Planning and ensuring execution of business area/division sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for assigned channel in a profitable way: orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities
  • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promoting their understanding of abb's complete product/systems/ services offering and aligning with them to provide a solution
  • Defining key targets (e.g., volume, prices, mix) and ensures these are achieved for the channels in the specified market
  • Supporting Local Division Manager in business and assist proposal process for channel partners
  • Identifying and evaluating global channel partners together with the Local Sales team and authorizes them in coordination with the Sales management team
  • Coordinating sales and marketing efforts that require channel partner participation
  • Drawing policies and relevant standards (e.g. Market Segmentation, Customer Due Diligence, Cyber Security) to be used globally for channel partner evaluation and certification
  • Building strong Channel/ partners policy and evaluation criteria to judge the feasibility of partnerships with ABB Sales team
  • Being responsible for identifying and managing risks relating to contract agreements and prices across customers/channels
Your background
  • Bachelor's degree in electronical or any equivalent qualification
  • Over 10 years of Channel Sales/Management experiences in automation industry multinational companies
  • Intermediate/business level in English, and fluency in Korean
  • Channel driven automation, instrumentation company experience
  • Regional (asia pacific level) role experience, OEM development sales role experience
  • Knowledge of SAP and MS office applications
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills
