TRICARE Beneficiary Services Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled TRICARE Beneficiary Services Specialist to join our team at Camp Humphreys, South Korea. As a key member of our global healthcare support team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless delivery of healthcare services to active-duty military members and their families.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for verifying benefits and enrollments, processing disenrollments, portability transfers, and more via systems like Defense Online Enrollment System (DOES) and MHS Genesis.
You will follow Military Treatment Facility (MTF) guidelines to make individual and batch Primary Care Manager (PCM) updates.
You will offer guidance on TRICARE resources, benefits, enrollment, and claims, assisting beneficiaries both in person and over the phone.
You will provide basic claims status updates and support.
You will lead informational sessions for various events such as in/out processing, maternity, and pre-separation/retirement.
You will collect and record daily activities and Other Health Insurance (OHI) info into applicable systems.
You will evaluate the level of assistance needed and refer or escalate complex issues as needed for proper resolution.
You will comply with all HIPAA regulations, maintain confidentiality and proper handling of Protected Health Information (PHI), and complete Leidos training courses on time.
You will assist with remote support, train new team members, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A High School diploma or equivalent years of experience is required.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain ADP IT III clearance is required.
Eligibility to obtain Invited Contractor 700-19 SOFA designation for employment in South Korea is required.
Able to provide proof of ordinary residency in the United States.
3+ years of customer service experience.
Essential Skills:
Fluent in English with strong written and oral communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Effective at delivering presentations.
Ability to tactfully communicate with others, both in person and on the phone.
Self-starter, able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
High attention to detail.
