Agriculture Specialist for Climate Resilience and Sustainability

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agriculture Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in advancing our mission to promote climate resilience and sustainability in agriculture.
Salary: USD 145,000 (plus attractive benefits)
**Responsibilities:*
- Originate and develop new projects and programs in low-emission and climate-resilient agriculture and ecosystems
- Lead the secretariat assessment of funding proposals and coordinate interdivisional reviews
- Develop guidelines and tools, and support the development of strategies and policies related to agriculture and ecosystems
- Promote innovative investment models in agriculture and ecosystems to address climate change mitigation and adaptation
Requirements:**
- Master's degree in agricultural development, environmental science or engineering, natural resources management or other relevant fields
- 11 years or more experience in project origination, development, management and financing with specific emphasis on low emission and climate resilient agriculture and food security programming
- Strong knowledge of financial structures and investment models suitable for climate resilient agriculture and food security investments
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with ability to interact with multiple stakeholders at different levels
