Description:
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-level technical support to end-users of computer equipment and systems. This includes installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, software, computers, printers, and other peripheral devices.
Collaboration is key in this role as you will work closely with other departments and IT teams globally and offshore to ensure seamless communication and support throughout the development, testing, and implementation of new products or operating system installs and/or upgrades.
Project management skills are essential as you will manage End-User Support projects, attend project meetings, communicate status to appropriate parties, develop, and disperse necessary documentation, and stay current with system information, changes, and updates.
Additionally, you will oversee work conducted in the APAC region by End-User Support vendors, research and evaluate available technology, and provide complex technical support related to assigned applications, systems, databases, and/or other technical products and services.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of four years of technical/systems support-related experience. Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree in CS/MIS is preferred, along with knowledge and experience with IT Helpdesk systems, and ITIL practices.
