Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with US/Local GAAP and reporting schedule so the liaison office can keep a full and reliable statement of its financial position. Validate compliance of AP voucher to be compliant with group policy and internal regulation Supporting Monthly expense reporting Collect, compile, verify, analyse, and reconcile financial information and prepare financial reports and bank reconciliation to assist the management in making financial decisions based on accurate and timely information. Assist treasury coordination between the company and local vendors/Confirm payments to suppliers. Prepare VAT tax report and tax payments and Check and clarify with tax consultant or tax agent if necessary. And file tax returns in accordance with income tax and withholding tax regulations to assure the Korea branch office that it fulfils its tax obligation and tax compliances. Provide technical accounting advice to functional co-workers to help them understand financial guidelines and manage their financial responsibilities. Ad hoc projects related to AP and others.___________________________________________________
Minimum Educational/Experience Requirements:
Min. 2 years college degree in accounting/finance or related field or above Working experience in accounting or finance function, work experience in a multinational enterprise or a CPA firm is preferred. Knowledge of Accounting Principle and tax regulations Proficient PC skills, especially in Microsoft Excel Strong processing and analytical skills Ability to deal with complex task and time pressure. Duzon(Local Accounting program) & SAP experience. Good communication skill in English is preferred.
