Job Description:

Broadcom and VMware together provide enterprise customers an expanded portfolio of business-critical infrastructure solutions to accelerate innovation and enable greater choice and flexibility to build, run, manage, connect and protect applications at scale.

As a Senior Strategic Account Sales, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and maintaining customer satisfaction within assigned accounts(Hyundai Motor Group, POSCO Group). You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their business needs, and aligning VMware solutions to address those needs effectively.
 

This role highly requires an ability to read, write, and speak Korean and a relevant work authorization in Korea.


Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders within assigned accounts(Hyundai Motor Group, POSCO Group). Understand client goals, challenges, and requirements, and proactively identify opportunities for VMware solutions. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and recommendations to optimize their use of VMware products and services.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals. Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts. Collaborate with internal sales teams and technical specialists to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet client needs.

Account Planning and Forecasting:

Conduct thorough account analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential risks. Develop and maintain accurate account plans, including revenue forecasts and sales pipeline management. Regularly review account performance against targets and take proactive measures to address any deviations.

Customer Advocacy:

Act as the voice of the customer within VMware by Broadcom, advocating for client needs and priorities. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer issues and concerns. Gather feedback from clients to inform product development and improvement initiatives.

Communication:

Deliberate and effective communications both within BSG (core team abroad, VCF, AOD, IMS, MFD, Tanzu, SED, ANS and other units and related executives)

Market and Competitor Analysis:

Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities related to virtualization and cloud technologies. Use market insights to refine sales strategies and positioning of VMware solutions.

What we expect from you:

Fluent in Korean and English Track record of sales success working with enterprise organizations Experience with vendors associated with virtualization technology, cloud and SaaS is a plus Proven ability to develop new sales with end-users Be a self-starter with the ability to learn quickly – highly coachable and open to learning Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where roles and responsibilities change quickly

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree. 10+ years of related work experience. Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably in the software or IT industry. Strong understanding of virtualization, cloud computing, and related technologies Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
