Business development specialist is to build new opportunities by delivering customer value proposition in emerging market. In order to do that, business development specialist has to better understanding of our product by workflow with strategic planning, GTM strategy and new account development. This role will also work alongside with functions to support, help implement, and drive key strategic projects to capturing emerging opportunities with a primary focus One Thermo CVP.

What will you do?

Execute on the vertical markets strategy by creating approaches of the Korea country model. This will include aligning the cross-divisional sales lead generation. Build frameworks to expand Thermo Fisher’s portfolio through developing towards full workflow for customer value propositions (CVP) in Biotech and F&B market. Develop mid and long-term segment business plan for various market. Partner with sales managers to identify key business issues and develops the most appropriate research design, methodology and analytic plan to address business needs. Supporting the team in the efficient delivery of key financial data/information to the commercial teams and business leaders. Partnerships building with key stakeholders and provide front line support for business requests from various divisions/groups. Build-up various business sector insights, customer, and competitor intelligence to inform business areas on market trends, business opportunities.

Requirements

A minimum of 7 years’ marketing experience in 2 more market segment with market strategic and planning role for business expanding. Good knowledge and understanding on market and business of Thermo Fisher Scientific Demonstrated capability to develop market strategy into a tactical plan that drives consolidation of all Thermo Fisher Scientific solution. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external key business stakeholders. Collaboration. Proactively collaborates across teams and functions and works effectively across boundaries. Ability to prepare business impact analysis and articulate business value propositions. Experience in competitive intelligence, market analysis, market Insights or strategy consulting will be advantageous.

Qualifications

Effective English communication skill to effectively communicate with the stakeholders in region/global teams. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiations skills Solid organization, project management, time management, and planning skills. Dynamic and highly self-motivated individual Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
