Senior Solution Advisor Specialist
SAP is a leading provider of enterprise software solutions, helping over 400,000 customers worldwide work more efficiently and effectively. As a Senior Solution Advisor Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting sales cycles and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in sales cycles as a member of the virtual account team, providing expert-level knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Cloud (ERP) Applications.
- Interact with prospective customers through executive meetings, discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, and executive presentations.
- Collaborate with sales and IBA teams to plan and execute business development strategies, utilizing various sales tools and techniques.
Deal Support:
- Compose and deliver superior sales presentations, articulating the sales message and differentiating SAP solutions.
- Prepare and deliver value-based software demonstrations/presentations, personalizing materials to ensure a compelling customer presentation.
- Conduct discovery sessions with prospective customers to build relationships and understand their unique needs.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of SAP solutions and industries, providing proof points with relevant customer stories.
- Support RFx completion in support of customer proposals.
- Provide limited post-sale support to key customers, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Lead as a Solution Captain when deals require complex solutions and multiple presales participants.
Demand Generation:
- Support one-to-many sales and marketing events, both on-site and remotely.
- Lead and support customer workshops to promote new and innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify whitespace opportunities at accounts.
Sales Readiness:
- Develop close relationships with sales teams to promote effective sales methodologies.
- Participate in demo system design and planning, assisting in configuration if needed.
- Serve as a champion for or participate as a leader in Solution Hubs, providing knowledge transfer to colleagues as needed.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of S/4HANA Logistics solution specialist experience in areas relevant to the job.
- Experience at a large, multi-national software/technology organization is a plus.
- Preferred S/4HANA implementation or consulting experience.
- Presales experience, with 5-7 successful engagements leading teams on mid-sized deals.
- Expert knowledge/expertise on S/4HANA implementation or consulting experience.
- Expert knowledge/expertise on end-to-end processes/solution matching.
- Experience in cloud implementation.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in English.
- Business-level local language skills.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of SAP ERP Logistics.
- Good understanding of industry-specific business processes.
- Well-developed customer focus.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Proactive and good energy to develop new markets.
