Business Development Director Role Overview

We're seeking a highly motivated and strategic Business Development Director to lead growth, expand market opportunities, and build strong client relationships. This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and leading initiatives to increase revenue and market segment share in Korea.

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive customer growth, revenue growth, and market expansion.
  • Identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with key clients, and establish strategic partnerships.
  • Analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and partner needs to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Develop and execute partnership strategies, negotiate contracts, and ensure revenue targets are met or exceeded.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, b2b sales, and product development, to align business goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 13 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of markets such as online to offline/franchise business/commerce/payment/IT platforms, competitive analysis, and business growth strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful business development strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Experience developing strategic partnerships and actual success.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
