Climate Change Leader for Latin America and Caribbean

The Green Climate Fund is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our efforts in the Latin America and Caribbean region. As Sub-Regional Head, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our investment strategy in this critical region.
About Us:The Green Climate Fund is the world's largest dedicated multilateral climate fund, investing in impactful projects across developing countries. Our mission is to support countries in their responses to climate change while fostering sustainable development.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and drive GCF's investment strategy for the sub-region, ensuring alignment with programmatic priorities and institutional policies.
- Lead complex, high-impact projects in the sub-region to advance GCF's mandate.
- Ensure the consistent application of all institutional policies.
- Deliver on key GCF objectives, including the successful implementation of planned initiatives and capital deployment.
- Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field; a higher-level degree is preferred.
- At least 15 years of experience, including management roles, with like-minded institutions.
- Extensive expertise in project origination, transaction appraisal, financial structuring, deal management, execution, and portfolio management.
