Climate Infrastructure Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Climate Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at the Green Climate Fund. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing transformative climate infrastructure projects in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage an active pipeline of climate infrastructure projects in Latin America and the Caribbean.
- Collaborate with accredited entities, national designated authorities, and partner organizations to identify and develop project proposals.
- Analyze and review funding proposals, concept notes, and readiness proposals to ensure alignment with GCF's investment criteria and policies.
- Negotiate and structure project agreements to achieve maximum impact through GCF support.
- Masters-level degree in finance, MBA, CFA, or equivalent with additional studies in ESG investing, sustainable finance, or climate finance.
- At least 9 years of experience in climate finance, impact investment, investment advisory, and regional or international investment facilities.
- Proven track record in leading and structuring investment proposals in impact investing, ESG, or climate mitigation and adaptation.
- Experience in project management, including design implementation, transaction appraisal, financial structuring, and deal management.
