Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our communications department, you will be responsible for developing and executing our media strategy, representing us in media engagements, and producing high-quality content to raise our profile and enhance our brand.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a comprehensive media strategy to secure coverage of our work in beneficiary and contributor countries
- Promote our work through social media and digital channels, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to share our story
- Write, review, and edit copy for various audiences, shaping our external messaging and developing our corporate voice
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners, including media outlets, content providers, and other stakeholders
- Advanced university degree in international relations, economics, journalism, communications, or a related field
- At least 9 years of relevant international communications experience, with a proven track record of good political judgment and discretion
- Demonstrated capacity to establish and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English, with knowledge of other languages a plus
