Responsibilities:
Development and execution of the strategy to achieve specific business targets and strategic objectives for Custom IC Design and Verification products (Custom IC schematic and layout capture, SPICE and mixed signal circuit simulation, AMS simulation environment, Variation analysis, Library Characterization & IP Validation) within the territory comprised primarily of South and West Europe and Israel accounts. Drive the priorities of all product line opportunities in the territory and provide a clear prioritization for resource allocation to the field technical resource management and product division. Be responsible for maintaining up-to-date data for tracking engagements including sales stage, progress against plan, action items, risks, and prioritization. Be responsible for defining the technical account plans and campaigns necessary to achieve the initial win, proliferation, and strategic development partnerships with customers in the territory. This person will work closely with the Account Manager to develop this plan and the Account Manager must ultimately approve this plan. In this role the ATM will work closely with the Field Application engineers to ensure that technical issues are resolved and escalate critical issues to the Product Engineering, Product Specialist, Product Management and R&D teams as needed Develop the overall product strategy along with the Field technical management to achieve business targets and strategic objectives. Business targets and strategic objectives are defined by sales management in conjunction with the product division. The strategy to achieve those business targets requires the construction of a top-down and bottom-up plan account by account within a territory (including calling out strategy to capture unidentified business in that territory). Define technical account engagementplans and campaigns necessary to achieve the results. The strategy and plansfor each account must be approved by the Account Manager. Lead and manage the account campaignsfor the specific product line. Ensure understanding of all elementsof any technical campaign - decision process, success criteria, committed usageupon success, run rate impact, AE resources required and, of course, solvingthe customer’s problem. Establish regular meetings withspecific customer management to support successful campaigns. Align with account team on businessopportunities and build up the engagement tracking mechanism to ensure abilityto summarize data and communicate progress vs plan across multiple accountseffectively. Define, track, and report thepriorities for all engagements at every stage and communicate closely withtechnical management helping to prioritize engagements and short vs. long-termobjectives. Build strong customer relationships toenable establishment of strategic relationships for Mentor in product /technology. Serve as the key field resource tosummarize competitive threats and opportunities.Job Qualifications:
BSEE, BSCE or BSCS Degree orequivalent, MS preferred. 7+ years of related experience. Product, market, and industryknowledge of Analog & Mixed-Signal IC design. Strong technical knowledge andexperience in Analog & Mixed-Signal IC design. Understanding of Custom design flowsas Virtuoso, Custom compiler, Tanner and circuit simulation software andexperience using any of the circuit simulators such as AFS, Eldo, Spectre,Hspice, CustomSim-XA, PrimeSim or other circuit simulators Knowledge of Variation analysis and/orLibrary Characterization tools is a plus. Strong prospecting, uncovering, demandcreation, and negotiation skills. Experience creating and maintainingtechnical campaigns. Ability to set appropriateexpectations and decision criteria. Guide technical campaigns tosuccessful closure. Comfortable delivering customerpresentations. Understanding of Finance. Working Conditions/PhysicalRequirements: 35% travel requiredWe are Siemens
