Overview
Lead all the human resources functions in Korea to provide support and guidance to all division and function leaders in HR areas.
This position will be responsible for driving HR initiatives, providing comprehensive HR supports and contributing to the achievement of business goals and objectives.
(1year 5months contract for maternity leave)
Responsibilities
HRBP This role is responsible for managing the organization and people by aligning and executing HR strategies, policies, and guidelines with the HR business plans and necessary operational work Collaborate closely with business leaders to support the design, development, and implement of HR initiatives, while also working with staff at all levels to ensure an efficient HR process and to retain the best people for achieving company goals Working with other HRBPs in the APAC region to support regional projects and initiatives. Partnering with the hiring manager to look after the talent acquisition process, from employee requisition up to offering, in the assigned region. Maintain and administer the compensation and benefits programs and payroll for Korea. Access and update HRIS for Korea. Provide recommendations in relation to C&B functions, training functions & recruitment to help achieve organizational target. Administer the annual salary review process for Korea. Support the integration of employees as required by providing appropriate orientation and working closely with hiring managers. Training needs analysis, sourcing and developing suitable training course or programs. Assisting line manager in handling employee performance issues, like working on performance development plan. Handle employee matters by guiding employment issues, managing grievances, and conducting investigations in accordance with local employment laws and regulations Co-operate with local management to enable a healthy and safe working environment Cultivate trust and credibility with peers and ensure effective working relationships at all levels of the organization Ensure that all statutory and legal requirements regarding HR practices and processes comply with labor laws and regulations while effectively managing HR-related risks Work on ad hoc projects or tasks as required GA & IT support Purchase IT equipment and manage company iPhone contract Order and maintain office stationery, office supplies and employee refreshments Submit monthly expense applications Assist with visa applications for inter-company visitors Perform receptionist duties when needed - company phone call, external visitors, mail, courier service, office facility Communication channel for the office building management office Provide employee communication and translation support when needed Organize and coordinate company-wide events and activities
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above With 8-10 years relevant working experience gained from multinational companies More than 5 years solid experience in Human Resources field Exposure in healthcare industry and in-depth understanding in medical device would be an advantage Expertise in HR management, including but not limited to, talent acquisition, organizational development, compensation, performance management, labor relations management Sound knowledge to local employment ordinancePersonal Attributes:
Organized and flexible, can work independently and able to work under pressure Good interpersonal skills with good team spirit Ability to communicate effectively and work closely at all levels of staff and team members from other parts of the business Analytical, excellent leadership, self-initiative, good time management, balanced with task and people, with strong problem-solving skill with complex matters Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills Excellent communication skills in English Proficiency in PC applicationEmployee Responsibilities:
