Hauptaufgaben

Serves as Administrative Officer for Directorate of Human Resources, which is a multi-functional organization. Responsible for planning, coordinating, advising and providing a variety of duties relating to personnel and organizational administration and management services essential to the operation and direction of the organization which are required knowledge of management principles, organizational theory, and techniques of analysis and evaluation, along with knowledge of standardized administrative practices and procedures. Provides leadership by assisting AFAS-K Director in the attainment of optimum operational and managerial effectiveness and efficiency through reviews of internal operating procedures and methods, organizational mission, function, workflow, documentation requirements and processes. The incumbent requires a high level of oral and written English communication proficiency and comprehension. Responsible for analyzing and evaluating organization studies such as, organizational structure, staffing, administrative procedures, work processes, or workload distribution to develop new or revised procedures for staff unit or to determine current and projected personnel needs and potential placement issues. Serves as the alternate point of contact on all matters/actions related to personnel (US and Korean civilian) management. Coordinates personnel actions for the personnel assigned to AFAS-K with the staff and maintains liaison with Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC) to ensure actions are completed as intended. Serves as the Training Coordinator for administrative government and non- government training facilities/programs, including training required of Emergency Essential Civilians (EECs). Advises on and assists AFAS-K Director and staff in assessing training requirements. Reviews and ensures the soundness of organization structure, functional alignment, and staffing considerations to facilitate efficient and effective administration, direction, and control. Recommends alternatives to proponents or to the AFAS-K Director. Performs other duties as assigned.
